This episode of Little People Big World was very intriguing because nothing else was on at 4:10 P.M. on a Tuesday. I have never seen a whole episode before, and it is interesting to see how these people live ordinary lives and do big things that even normal sized people have problems doing. It shows how strong they have to be and how much we take for granted.
In this episode the father was diagnosed with sleep apnea, and diabetes. What is very suprising is that he took it as if the information was just apart of the routine and doctors giving diagnosis that would be upsetting to a lot of people did not upset him as much because he wants to live a happy life with his wonderful family.
His wife was shocked, but she was supportive and was trying to get him on track with testing his blood sugar levels. This is a very revealing, uplifting, stereotype breaking kind of show that shows americans the non norm, but it really shows that their lives are as normal as ours.
